Stephen Gaynor School recently expanded to a two-building campus totaling nearly 80,000 square feet. The expansion has allowed the school to grow both academically and in the arts, reaching more children with learning differences.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Science Teacher to join our dynamic team.

About the Position – Assistant Science Teacher (Full-Time)


  • Person who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about science, eager to learn, collaborate with colleagues, and engages students
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a scientific discipline or Education
  • Graduate students pursuing their Master’s Degree in Science Education or Special Education preferred
  • Experience:
    • One to two years
    • Experience working with children who have learning differences

Position Start Date: Monday, August 22, 2016

Salary: commensurate with experience
