Position Summary:

SIYLI runs the Search Inside Yourself (SIY) program both as open-enrollment courses for the public (“Public programs”) and working with businesses to bring the SIY program to their employees (“Direct programs”). This position is part of the Direct team, which is responsible for selling programs, managing client relationships, and ensuring that each of our programs is delivered with the utmost care and integrity. The Direct Program Coordinator position supports SIYLI’s Direct team to bring various SIY offerings to organizations, and will also be dedicated to supporting one of SIYLI’s largest clients onsite.

This position will be onsite at SIYLI’s office in San Francisco for at least 3 days per week, and at a SIYLI client’s office one or two days a week (usually in San Francisco, with occasional time in the client’s Silicon Valley office).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

SIYLI (50%)

  • Provide administrative, logistical, and program support for SIY Programs, including:
    • Matching teachers with clients
    • Coordinating logistics (scheduling, travel, etc.) for program delivery
    • Scheduling/Logistical support for events and programs
    • Shipping program materials
    • Data entry to record program details
    • Supporting implementation of webinars
    • Tracking client and teacher feedback; providing feedback and guidance to SIYLI staff responsible for program development and teacher development
  • Organized and responsive to customer requests and internal processes
  • Delivering customer service to clients, trainers, alumni, and others
  • Salesforce database management (removing duplicates, setting up queries, structuring reports, etc.)
  • Potential to support SIYLI’s marketing team, depending on candidate’s skills and interests
  • Responsibilities, tasks and projects may change as needed to support Direct team

SIYLI Client (50%)

  • Sets up and handles logistics of classes for SIY programs (as described above) at the client’s company
  • Manages the client relationship in partnership with the Engagement Manager, and works closely on-site with client’s Program Manager
  • Interfaces with other teams throughout Client’s company to coordinate offerings
  • Coordinates mindfulness program offerings working with client’s wellbeing team
  • Supports community building programs and related special events
  • Comfortably manages and navigates multiple stakeholders
  • Runs reports on effectiveness metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years relevant work experience
  • Excellent people skills, able to handle difficult conversations
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to context-shift given the dynamic startup environment and working within multiple organizations
  • Experience with mindfulness and a deep interest in and commitment to SIYLI’s teachings and mission

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce and Google Apps experience preferred
  • Marketing experience (e.g. Google Adwords, social media, blog writing, SEO) would be a bonus. A candidate with these skills might use part of their time to support the marketing team
