The Executive Assistant to the CEO (EA) will join the newly created CEO’s Office. The post holder will provide superlative high level support to the CEO in the execution of his duties. The role operates in three dynamics:
- Administrative support – enabling the CEO to achieve more by alleviating the administrative burden and ensuring the seamless functioning of the CEO’s office.
- Research capacity – supporting the CEO to pursue opportunities and lines of enquiry without compromising his core work, including: drafting external documents, speech writing, drafting blog posts and investigation of issues.
- Communication and representation – communicating essential information from the CEO’s office to the organisation and ensuring follow through on actions, including the monthly SMT cycle.
Priorities will change to meet the operational requirements of the CEO and the organisation. The EA will be an important channel of information between the CEO and wider organisation including the communication of decisions.
WSUP is a non-profit partnership between the private sector, NGOs and research institutions focused on solving the global problem of inadequate water and sanitation in low-income urban communities. WSUP brings lasting solutions to low-income areas by working in partnership with service providers, including water utilities, local authorities and businesses, and the communities they serve. WSUP strengthens the capacity of service providers to deliver sustainable city-wide water and sanitation services, promote good hygiene and raise the environmental standards of low-income communities.
