Job Summary:
The Pacific West Region is recruiting for summer seasonal Lead Wilderness Information Assistant GS-0303-06 positions intended to assist permanent staff with the Wilderness Information Center operations. Duty stations for these positions are located throughout the Olympic National Park. **This vacancy announcement will be open from Monday, February 06, 2017 to Friday, February 10, 2017 or when 50 applications have been received. The vacancy will close on whichever day the first of these conditions are met. Any application received prior to midnight Eastern Time of the day the application limit is reached will be accepted and considered. Within regulatory limitations, the length of initial appointment may be shortened or extended depending on work availability and funding. Appointments under this announcement are eligible for rehire and/or extension (when initial appointment is less than 1039 hours) if workload and funding allow. These positions have no promotion potential; if you want to be considered for a higher grade, you must apply for the higher grade.
