Community Colleges nationally and in New Hampshire are deeply involved in higher education and workforce development, enhancing student pathways to economic opportunity. Within the Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) this important work is driven by our faculty and staff, who embody our mission and have a passion for what they do. Currently, we seek an important addition to our team who shares this passion and will work out of our System Office, which provides centralized administration and oversight for the seven colleges that comprise CCSNH.
Based in the historic capital city of Concord, NH, the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor and the Board of Trustees serves the dual role of supporting the Chancellor’s leadership activities and scheduling, while also acting as the primary contact and support person to the Board of Trustees. The position has responsibilities for system-wide and board of trustees’ policies and documentation, and managing projects and tasks related to system-wide and board initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience providing executive-level administrative support, and effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines with professionalism. S/he will have the ability to establish and maintain strong work relationships and manage multiple tasks and time sensitive matters simultaneously. In addition, it is of high importance for the incumbent to exercise sound judgment and understand the need for discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
