Assistant Professor of Forest Resources Management // open until filled

The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in forest resources management. The position will be filled at the Assistant Professor level, commensurate with experience, on a 36-week academic year appointment, with 75% Extension and 25% research responsibilities. We are seeking an outstanding candidate with one or more degrees in forest resources management or a related field with a demonstrated interest in working with private forest landowners. Demonstration of research expertise is required in areas such as interaction of human communities and natural resources, and private forest land issues including landowner education, legacy planning, stewardship, wildlife habitat management, forest economics, and forest policy.
