Purpose of the consultancy:
The Programme Services Unit of UNICEF’s Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division is responsible for managing the production of a range of donor materials, including proposals, reports, and human interest stories. TheContent Management Assistantwill be responsible for converting and uploading finalized materials into the Funding Marketplace.He/She will also take on content management responsibilities within the unit, including uploading annual thematic reports to the Team Site and other ad hoc requests.
It is estimated that theassignment will include converting (to XML files) and uploading approximately eighty seven (87) Human Interest Stories (one to two pages each), with accompanying photos and photo captions/ credits; approximately 150-200 two-pager reports and accompanying Donor Statements; budgets and Financial Tables for each toolkit. The Content Management Assistantwill also support the team with the uploading of thematic reports to the Programme Services Team Site and other ad hoc requests.
Specific tasks include:
1.Make necessary adjustments to the content of the Natcom Donor Toolkits based on reviewers’ comments and Country offices’ feedback. The contents to finalize before conversion and uploading include: Budgets, 2-pager reports and Donor Statements, and Financial Tables.
2.Convert Human Interest Stories from Microsoft Word to XML, using the collaborative authoring tool of The Funding Marketplace.
3.Upload files and other information to The Funding Marketplace, including 2-pager reports, financial reports, photos (with captions/credits) for associated stories, and other supporting materials.
4.Upload files on the Programme Proposals site of the PFP Intranet site.
5.Upload Country Office and HQ proposals to the Programme Proposals site on the PFP Intranet.
6.Upload annual thematic reports to the Thematic Reports site on the PFP Intranet.
