How can you make a difference?

As emergencies become more frequent, the expectations of UNICEF to deliver on the Core Commitments for Children in Humanitarian Action (CCCs) in a timely and effective manner will continue to increase.Emergency preparedness significantly enhances UNICEF’s ability to meet these expectations and save time and resources in the response.

While strengthening the work on Emergency Preparedness the longer-term programming should be risk informed and address the root causes of the risks. The UNICEF Regional Offices (ROs) play an important role in supporting the Country Offices (COs) to integrate the new Guidance for Risk Informed Programming (GRIP) in their CPD-process.
