  • Supply Planning and Monitoring
  • Collaborate with Programme Sections on Supply and Procurement Matters
  • Supply & Procurement Data Maintenance & Reporting
  • Supply & Procurement Forecasting
  • Draft Submissions for Contract Review Committee (CRC)
  • Ensures quality control of goods and services procured
  • Maintains Stock Inventory Report
  • Conducts Market Research and Local Market Surveys
  • Correspond with offshore suppliers when required and Copenhagen for standard warehouse items and obtain Long Term Arrangements (LTA), when required

    To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Completion of secondary school education is required, with courses/certifications in business administration, supply chain management, procurement or logistics considered as an advantage
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible administrative and/or supply-related work experience (procurement, supply or logistics) is required
  • Experience with computer databases, for the maintenance of procurement records
  • Familiarity with UNICEF, UN supply procedures and systems is an asset
  • Fluency in English and local language of the duty station is required
