Under the guidance of the Chief of Communication, the post holder contributes to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of UNICEF Mexico´s brand positioning strategy (as key element of the Section´s overall Advocacy & Communication Strategy), with particular focus on strengthening influencer engagement by further developing the existing pool of key national influencers like Good Will Ambassadors (GWAs) an other high-profile personalities that support UNICEF, maximising their potential to strategically communicate our agenda for children in Mexico and globally.
The post holder takes the lead in identifying key public events/activities at national level with solid potential to position UNICEF as an engaged social actor, strengthen the organization´s public profile and increase brand trust, negotiating participation in such activities with the overall objective of maximising organizational presence while minimising costs.
As part of the Section´s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) efforts, the post holder acts as focal point for the development of M&E plans and related negotiations with external service providers, liaison with DOC´s M&E team and PFP´s Market Knowledge Unit, as well as analysis of findings, preparation of knowledge reports and application of such knowledge for strategic advocacy/communication purposes, including media outreach.

a) EDUCATION: University degree in communication, advocacy, marketing or related field.
b) WORK EXPERIENCE:1 year of professional work experience in communication, advocacy or closely related fields, with demonstrable experience in the use of market research tools and in the application of related knowledge to achieve advocacy, communication or media targets. Field work experience
c) LANGUAGES: Fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English
