How can you make a difference?
Support in developing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating an advocacy and communication strategy to get children’s and women’s issues into the public domain with the objective of promoting awareness to strengthen general public, private sector and political will in support of UNICEF’s mission in the country, and enhance the organization’s credibility and brand. Ensure that the Representative and the country programme team are provided with professional expertise and advice on all aspects of external relations communication as required.
Key results expected:
– Support the development of communication, advocacy and CSR activities related to the implementation of the Fundraising strategy on national level. Develop and implement fundraising and advocacy campaigns in media.
– Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant civil society and other organizations to promote child rights.
– Support CSR through relevant advocacy and communicational activities and materials.
Supervision: Human resources (the communication team) and financial resources (budget planning and monitoring) are both effectively supervised and optimally used.
